Obituary of Albyna Powers

Powers, Albyna of St. Thomas and formerly of Aylmer passed away at her residence on Saturday, November 16, 2019 in her 81^st year. Beloved wife of John Powers. Dear mother of Debbie Goddard(Jim), Christine Kozar(Dan), Terry(Heather), Stephen(Christine), George and Brian(Sandy). Loving grandmother of Jennifer(Chris), Emery, Tiffany, Skyler(Michelle), Brock(Kathryn), Steven, Marilyn, Shelby, Ashley, Shanena and Colton.  She will be missed by a number of great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.  Sister-in-law to Gary Powers(Kathy) and Bob Powers(Jean). Predeceased by brother Algie (1976) and a brother-in-law Bill. Born in Port Arthur, Ontario on August 12, 1939, daughter of the late Benny and MaryAnne (Bukata) Patkus. Albyna enjoyed working on the farm and worked at Thermo Disk Assembly.  Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9pm.  A funeral mass will be held at Our Lady of Sorrows R.C. Church, Aylmer on Wednesday, November 20, 2019 at 10:00 am.
