Obituary of Elinor Given

Given, at London Health Science Centre-University Campus on Sunday, March 19, 2006. Elinor Caroline Given of London and formerly Aylmer in her 88th year. Beloved wife of the late Currie H. Given. Dear mother of Tom Given of Grand Bend and loving grandmother of Mickey and Robin Given, Christine and Christian Bullas and Megan Given; Great grandmother of Jaime Bullas and Mickey Given; sister of Theresa Pierce all of London. Predeceased by brothers Joe and Leo Ziler. Born in Parkhill on August 29, 1918 daughter of the late John and Sarah (McCormick) Ziler. Elinor was librarian at the Aylmer Library for 31 years. She was a member of the C.W.L. and Our Lady of Sorrows Roman Catholic Church. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. CWL prayers Tuesday at 4:00 p.m. and Parish prayers Tuesday at 8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, March 22, 2006 at 11:00 am. Interment, Queen of Peace Cemetery. Father Gilbert Simard, officiating. Donations to the Cancer Society or the Parkwood Hospital would be appreciated.
