Obituary of Abe Klassen

Klassen, Abe of Aylmer passed away peacefully at his residence on Tuesday, October 15, 2019 in his 83^rd year. Beloved husband of Mary Klassen. Dear father of Lydia Teichroeb(David), Herman(Jan), Rodney(Shila), Melinda Doan(Rob) and Darryl(Joy).  Loving grandfather of Shelby, Jackson, Caleb, Benjamin, Jamey, Ivan, Kira, Alanna, Luke, Sawyer, Julia and Simon.  Survived by his sisters Susana, Agatha and brothers David, John and Benjamin.  He will be missed by many nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by sisters Anna, Aganetha, Helena, Maria, Katharina, Anna, Elizabeth, Sara and brothers Peter, Cornelius and Franz.  Born in Chihuahua, Mexico on January 17, 1937, son of the late Peter and Anna Klassen.  Abe was a devoted husband and father and his faith was exemplified in his daily walk.  He owned and operated Klassen Construction from 1970-2004.  Upon retirement from his business, he enjoyed annual trips south, many sporting activities, including a good cup of coffee with friends.  Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Monday 2-4 and 7-9pm.  The funeral service will be held at the Evangelical Mennonite Mission Church (across from Summers Corners Public School) on Tuesday, October 22, 2019 at 1:00 pm.
