I known Rodger for a short time.In those few years I had so many laughs and he will be remembered in a very positive way.
He offered not only the best fish and chips but a great time of entertainment.
We travelled from Alberta each spring and ended up visiting Rodger.
To his family...
So sad for everyone and just hang onto the memories and you will get stronger.

So very sad to hear of Rogers departure. My heart goes out to his family. Though I didn't know him well he was always good to us when John and I went to repair his appliances at the chip wagon. I'm so very glad I was able to visit with him last week at the hospital and share some humor with him for the last time.. It was sad to see how ill Roger was and I know the pain and discomfort he was in. There is some comfort in knowing that his suffering has ended and that he is on a journey to another home. May god be with his loved ones to help ease their pain.

My condolences to your family. Rodger will be greatly missed by many. I will always remember his wit and humour. His sarcastic remarks to my timely placed Facebook photos from Florida in the middle of winter. He was definitely one of a kind.

I only met Rodger a couple of times, but he made such an impression on us Brits from England. He always said that he couldn’t understand a word we said, so we would have made the perfect couple! I think he really wanted Kathryn Ivison as a sister in law, he was a real gent, with the kindest heart. Heartfelt condolences to his family.
