Obituary of Norman West

West, peacefully with his family by his side at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Saturday, March 11, 2006. Norman R. West of Lyons in his 71st year. Beloved husband of Shirley (Fisher) West. Dear father of Belinda Young of Lyons, Mark West of Lyons and Randy West and wife Kim of Aylmer. Loved dearly by grandchildren Kristi and Dillon. Brother-in-law of Eleanor West and Ralph Johnson. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a brother George West and a sister Shirley Johnson. Born in Mount Elgin on January 20, 1936 son of the late Merritt and Alice (Light) West. Norman worked at Calco Metal Fabricating for many years and enjoyed retstoring old cars. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Monday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 14, 2006 at 1:00 pm. Interment, Light Cemetery. Donations to the Cancer Society would be appreciated.
