Obituary of Brian Arthur
Arthur, Brian of Aylmer passed away peacefully at Parkwood Hospital, London after a courageous battle with MS, with his daughter by his side on Saturday, May 25, 2019. He was 64. Husband of Mary (Edwards) Arthur. Dear father of Kerri Edwards(Roger) of Okotoks, Alberta. Loving papa of Alayna and Aedan. He will be missed by his best friend Darcey Westbrook(Nettie) of Aylmer. Brother of Lori Koyich(Dave) of Busby, Alberta and Wendy Arthur of Richmond, British Columbia. He will be missed by niece Anja and nephews Graham, Alex(Karen) and Christopher, great-niece Mira and great nephews Rowan, Otto, Bodi and Neve. Predeceased by his granddaughter Brittany. Born in Edmonton, Alberta on February 22, 1955, son of the late Theodore and Beatrice(Cole) Arthur. Brian served for 20 years in the Canadian Armed Forces as a vehicle tech, with various United Nations postings during his career. In 1992, he moved to Aylmer and worked with the military vehicle (Lav 3) and as a Site Supervisor at General Motors Defense, now known as General Dynamics Land Systems for many years. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Monday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., where the funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at 11:00 am. Legion service: Monday at 6:45 pm.
