Obituary of Edy Thompson

Thompson, Edith “Edy” of Aylmer passed away at Terrace Lodge on Friday, May 17, 2019 in her 82^nd year. Beloved wife of the late James Thompson(2003).  Dear mother of Richard Thompson and wife Tammy of St. Thomas and the late Len “Emma” Thompson(1996). Proud and loving grandmother of Paige.  Sister-in-law to Emily Lacey, Jean (Lacey) Scothorn and Shirley Lacey.   Predeceased by her brothers George and Roy Lacey and sister Elizabeth Himmelman. Born in Halifax, Nova Scotia on May 9, 1938, adopted daughter of the late William and Bella Lacey. Edy worked at the Ontario Police College for many years. The funeral service will be held at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Friday, May 24, 2019 at 11:00am.  Cremation has taken place. Donations to Scleroderma Canada (scleroderma.ca) would be appreciated.
