Obituary of Ernest Anderson

Anderson, Ernest passed away peacefully at Harvest Crossing, Tillsonburg on Monday, May 6, 2019 in his 97th year. Ernie was a resident of Victoria Street North in Aylmer for many years. Beloved husband of the late Marion (Cornell) Anderson(2012). Dear father of Bob Anderson(Alvisia) of Carseland, Alberta, Ron Anderson(Gail) of High Prairie, Alberta and father-in-law of Gudrun Anderson of Rosedale, British Columbia.  Predeceased by his son Ray Anderson(1996).  Loving grandfather to Teresa(Paul), Mark(Cheryl) and Kristie and great-grandfather to Megan, Erica and Alexiss. Brother-in-law to Don and Marjorie McQuiggan and Shirley Baldwin(the late Wayne). Also survived by a number of nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sisters Eleanor Leadsom, Elsie Cadman and Lena Tolhurst and  brothers Lawrence, Gordon, Jim, Harold, Clair and Veron Anderson.  Born in Oxford County on February 16, 1923, son of the late George and Laura (Pake) Anderson. Ernest owned and operated Massey Ferguson Tractor Dealership. He was a member of the Aylmer Baptist Church. Friends may call at the  H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2019 at 11:00 am. Interment, Aylmer Cemetery.
