Obituary of Emmy MacDonald

MacDonald,  Emeline “Emmy” of Aylmer passed away peacefully with her family by her side at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Sunday, April 14, 2019 in her 84th year. Beloved wife of the late Alexander MacDonald(2012). Dear mother of Cindy Martin and husband Paul Hewson of  Aylmer, Hector MacDonald of London, Glenn MacDonald and wife Linda of Aylmer. Loving grandmother of Courtney Martin, Ashley Friesen(Chris), David Martin, Shannon MacDonald, Shawn MacDonald. Great-grandmother of Leah, Amy, Nicholas and Jordyn. Sister of Loretta McMaster, Rachel Storey, Gertrude (Jim) Rigby, Marilyn LeDrew, Esther McMaster, Danny McMaster, and many nieces and nephews. Sister-in-law of Fidelle MacDonald, Bob Mazzocca, Gerri MacDonald and Joanne MacDonald. Predeceased by her daughter Sandra, son Scott, sisters Cassie, Theresa, Christina, Sheila and  brothers, Peter, John and Carl. Born in New Waterford, Nova Scotia, she was the daughter of the late John and Bridget (McEachern) McMaster. Emmy loved playing euchre and getting together with family and friends. For many years Emmy and Alex enjoyed travelling to fiddle contests in their RV. Friends may call at the  H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.  The funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, April 17, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. from Our Lady of Sorrows Roman Catholic Church.
