Obituary of Leon Regan
Regan, at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Friday, December 9, 2011. Leon Emmett Regan of Aylmer in his 85th year. Beloved husband of Betty (Teskey) Regan. Dear brother of Ken Regan, Joanne Kenny(Peter), Judy Regan, Larry Regan(Denyse), David Regan(Judy), Janet Bottineau(Paul) and brother-in-law to Don Butler. Predeceased by his sister Doreen Butler, a brother-in-law Bill Teskey and a sister-in-law Marion Regan. Also survived by a number of nieces and nephews. Born in Middlemarch on July 15, 1927 son of the late Emmett and Loretta (Connolly) Regan. Leon operated Regan Electrical from 1963-1995 and Regan General Store, Corinth from 1963-1990. He was a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Roman Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus and the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. Leon loved music and was well known for singing at midnight mass. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Monday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where prayers will be held on Monday at 8:30 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated from Our Lady of Sorrows R.C. Church on Tuesday, December 13, 2011 at 1:00 pm. Interment, Queen of Peace Cemetery.
