VanOverloop(Matthys), at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Monday, February 20, 2006. Germaine VanOverloop of Bobier Villa, Dutton and formerly of R.R.#2, Aylmer in her 93rd year. Beloved wife of the late Albert VanOverloop(1968). Step-mother of Florent Van Overloop of R.R.#2, Aylmer. Dear sister of Omer Matthys of Strathroy, Julian Matthys of Vanessa, George Matthys of London, Albert Matthys of Mount Brydges, Denice Bilcke of Belgium, Maria Lambrecht of Bothwell and Yolande Van Parys of Belgium. Also survived by a number of nieces, nephews, step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren. Predeceased by a daughter Yolanda Van Overloop, a step-son Mack Van Overloop, brothers Firmin, Maurice and Remie Matthys and a sister Armandin Van Hooren. Born in Oostende Belgium on August 12, 1913 daughter of the late Hector and Alice (Christian) Matthys. Germaine was a member of Our Lady of Sorrows R.C. Church and the C.W.L. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Tuesday 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. C.W.L. Prayers Wednesday at 4:00 p.m. Parish Prayers Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Sorrows R.C. Church on Thursday, February 23, 2006 at 11:00 am. Interment, Queen of Peace Cemetery. Donations to the Cancer Society would be appreciated.
