Dear Nell and all the rest of Don's family. I am so sorry that I was unable to attend Don's funeral. I was conducting a memorial service here in Kitchener....my heart was with you all. This week has been a constant stream of memories of Don, my doctor, my confidant and my friend, and you, Nell who became to dear to me as well. I was 13 when Don became my doctor and for 25 years he saw me and my family through countless life challenges. He brought our 4 sons into the world (who always took him a bag of penny candy from Graves General store), looked after my mom and dad, Pearl and Francis Tisdale, and also my mother-in-law, Violet Graves. What lovely hours we spent when you visited in Bermuda and Don was the first one I called when Cec had his heart attack there. His support meant so much. I remember after Marilyn's funeral in Toronto we were sharing some refreshments and he said "don't leave" and rushed out, coming back from the drug store with a bag of vitamins and baby aspirin and some other things meant to keep us healthy. He just couldn't help himself. During Cec's final illness in 1997 Don's many phone calls and concern saw me through those dark days. Our many conversations by email were always a blessing to me and I cherish the memory of our last visit together. Nell....I will try and get to see you soon. Just know that I am praying you will know God's sustaining grace through these days. Blessings always.....Lucy

I was so fortunate to have Don as my doctor for more than 20 years.He never beat around the bush and always told it like it was.If you were not ready to follow his instructions then you had to be ready to find yourself another doctor.I always admired him for his compassion , dedication and professionalism. My deepest condolences to Nell and family.

My Deepest Condolences to Dr.Wright’s family. I worked with Dr.Wright at the St.Thomas Walk In Medical Clinic. He was a fantastic man and a superb doctor! He loved to talk about his family❤️. A very friendly, kind, compassionate, caring doctor. I appreciated his friendship and it was always a pleasure to work with Dr.Wright. Dear Nell, Diane, Barb, Brian and Sheila and families, How sad we were to hear of the passing of your dear loved one! Dr Wright and you all have been special to our family since we came to Aylmer in 1954 and then after we were married, delivering all three of our sons and treating family ailments. Our associations continued thru your school days and as neighbours on Rutherford. Dr Wright was one of a kind and part of a dying breed of doctor, making house calls at any time of the day or night. We always knew he was there for us! After he retired we thoroughly enjoyed running into Nell and Don at the movies where we would compare notes on good films we had each seen recently. He will be greatly missed, but the wonderful memories live on! Nell is in our prayers as are you all. In sympathy and friendship, Susan and Joe

A life well lived. I remember when Don & Nell came to Aylmer. My father was still in practice then, and welcomed this young newcomer to the medical community. My brother Duncan when he joined the medical profession and came to Aylmer to practice continued to respect and enjoy the advice and company of both Don & Nell right to the present time. The family can know that there are many other great stories of this special couple.

I was saddened to hear of Dr. Wrights passing . He was my childhood family Doctor when we were stationed in Aylmer and when I went in training at St.TEGH he was the first person I ever worked with in Surgery. I was scared stiff and he was able to make it a relaxing positive experience. My parents talked of him fondly long after we left Aylmer. My condolences to you all
