Obituary of Ernest Lamb

Lamb, Ernest W. passed away November 7, 2018 in his 98^th year in his home at Springfield Ont. As per his wishes, no public funeral was held; cremation with a private burial was held on November 17, 2018 in the family plot at Springfield East Cemetery. Ernest was the seventh child of Eva M.(Moore) and J. Franklin Lamb. Born on the 7^th of January, 1921 at Evergreen Estate, one half mile west of Springfield, Ontario. Predeceased by his parents, father(1972) and mother(1978) and by siblings Marguerite (1998), Charles(1997), Harry(1992), George(1959), William(1922), Max(1984), Donna(2012) and Betty(1994); nieces Mary Anne and Debbie, nephews Roger, Frank, Kenneth and Danny. Ernest is survived by his friend of more than 32 years, E.J. Small and brother Samuel Lamb, 25 nieces and nephews: Tommy Lynn, Evangeline, Marietta, David, Carolyn, Eva, Barbara, Ethel, David, Rosalind, Jason, Bill, Bob, Betty Lou, Dennis, Richard, Suzanne, Eddie, Terry, Kelly, Jim, John, Margie Lou, Barbie Lynn, and Bob. Also survived by several great and great grand nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Malahide Community Place in Springfield on Sunday, December 9 from 1-3 p.m.  If you wish to make a donation, please contact E.J. Small.
