Al and I are so sorry to the family for your lose. Ed has been a friend of ours for many years, since trapper was a pup, and we are dumbfounded and saddened to learn of his passing today. We are so sorry we missed paying our respects to a man of immense knowledge and personality. Ed has been the only person we trusted to fix our boat. Honest, hardworking, charismatic and super friendly
We will miss you Ed, wish you had time for another coffee with us

I had the pleasure of knowing Ed for 40 years. He was always such a help to me if needed. Ed was especially kind & patient with my grandson Nathan Vance. He taught Nathan a lot about proper gun handling & trap shotting.
He will be especially missed at the East Elgin Sports club.
My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

So "Sorry" to hear of our friend's passing. "Eddy the Scope" was out with us this past Sunday ,shooting Trap as we usually did. Who knew this would be our last time to share this experience with our dear friend Ed. He was a great resource and teacher of our sport, helpiing the new shooters as well as the old. His skill in organizing our special "meat shoots" and his mechanical skills in knowing how to keep our old trap thrower going will be greatly missed. They just don't make them like Ed anymore. Our deepest sympathy to Ed's family and his best friend "Tracker". Dave and Pat Warr.

Uncle Ed was a man strong in his ways. He found comfort in the outdoors and everything mother nature had to offer. I will treasure memories of our family gatherings with his great smile and daring spirit setting the mood. I know he loved a good challenge and would gear up to meet it. May he now walk with the angels of his life and bring some fun their way.
