Obituary of Domenico Ierullo

Ierullo, Domenico of London passed away peacefully at McGarrell Place on Monday, July 2, 2018. He was 94 years old. Dear husband of Maria (Tucci) Ierullo for 62 years. Loving father of Vito (Charlene),Gina (Rick), Robert (Leanne), Frank (Kim), and Cristina (Paul). He will be missed greatly by his grandchildren Domenic (Laura), Stefano, Antonio, Angelo, Giuliana, Vincenzo, Stephanie (Riley), Andrea (Craig), Danielle (Colton), Ben, Sophia, Josiah, Melissa, Rebecca, Marina, Evan, and Matteo, as well as his great-grandchildren Mia, Carlin, Brinley, Liv, Marlo, and Cameron. Domenico found great joy in spending time with his grandchildren. Born in Vallelonga, Italy on February 12, 1924, son of late Vito and Angela Ierullo. Domenico came to Canada in 1949 and was a gold miner in South Porcupine (Timmins) at Dome Mine. He worked underground for 40 years drilling and blasting. He was an avid gardener and enjoyed spending time outside. Friends may call the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Wednesday 2-4pm and 7-9pm. The funeral mass will be held at Our Lady of Sorrows R.C. Church, Aylmer on Thursday, July 5, 2018 at 10:00am. Interment, Queen of Peace Cemetery.
