Obituary of George Carrel

Carrel, George Edward of Brownsville passed away at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Sunday,  May 20, 2018. He was 66. Beloved husband of Susan(Chilcott) Carrel. Dear father of Mark Carrel(Michelle) and loving grandfather of Victoria, Kaileigh and Kristian. Brother of  Ruth Abbott Kinsey(Wayne), Margaret Bedwell and Donald Carrel (Vicky). Son-in-law to Isabelle and Gord Chilcott. Brother-in-law of Barry Chilcott(Leslie), Terry Chilcott(Joyce),  Randy Chilcott(Sharon), Steven Chilcott and Diana Saska(Frank). Also survived by an uncle Richard Stevens and a number of nieces and nephews.  Born in Tillsonburg, Ontario on December 30, 1951, son of the late Joe and Flossie (Stevens) Carrel. George was a cabinet maker and craftsman of fine furniture. Friends may call at the  H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.  where the funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 26, 2018 at 11:00 am. Cremation has taken place. Interment, Springfield Cemetery.
