Obituary of "Mick" James Burwell

Burwell, James Brian “Mick” of Aylmer passed away at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Sunday, May 20, 2018.  He was 70. Beloved husband of Mary(Kovacs) Burwell.  Dear father of Brian Burwell(Wendy) of Aylmer, Brenda Cuthbert of Tillsonburg, David Burwell(Lisa) of Delmer, Melissa Firby(Ryan) of Aylmer and Chris Burwell(Tera) of Port Burwell.  Loving grandfather of Clinton, Brett(Nancy), Kyle, James, Kim, Brad, Mickayla, Mark, Gavin, Ella and Cora.  Brother of Marlene Moosberger(Henry) and Mary Ann French(Steve). Brother -in-law of Joan Burwell, Rosemary Burwell, Anne Cummings(Brian) and Wilma Rego(Joe). Also survived by a number of nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a brother Ken "Cub" Burwell(1998) and Harold Burwell(2009).  Born in Tillsonburg on October 16, 1947, son of the late Howard and Marjorie (Gibson) Burwell.  He was a member of the Hawley Hunt Club and Malahide Fire Department #1 for over 20 years.  Mick was a farmer and a trucker.   Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 24, 2018 at 11a.m. Interment, Tillsonburg Cemetery.   Donations to Richmond United Church would be appreciated.
