Obituary of Clarene Freeman

Freeman, Clarene of St. Thomas and formerly of Aylmer passed away at her residence on Tuesday, May 15, 2018. She was 77. Beloved wife of Gerry Freeman. Loving mother of Doug(Shyann) of Calgary and Christine of Belmont. She will be missed by her grandchildren Tyler and Shannon Dwyer.  Dear daughter of the late Thomas and Dorothy Hardcastle. Born in Oshawa on October 28, 1940. Clarene was a Retired Elementary School teacher who taught in Hamilton, St. Thomas and at McGregor Public School in Aylmer. Clarene was a Director on the Aylmer & East Elgin Fair Board and helped look after the Elementary School Displays each year. She was also an active member of Pleasant Valley and The Bluffs Golf Course near Port Stanley.  Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Monday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 22 at 1:00 p.m. Interment, Aylmer Cemetery. Donations to Trinity Anglican Church or Animal Aid would be appreciated.
