Obituary of Dennis Pesall
Pesall, Dennis John of Aylmer passed away at Terrace Lodge on Sunday, May 13, 2018. He was 82. Beloved husband of Jeanette (Hebert) Pesall. Dear father of Kevin(Laurie) of Delhi, Kathi Vandermeer(Ben) of Springfield and Kera Pesall of Toronto. Loving grandfather of Kim(Brian), Ashley(Jared), Megan, Tyler, step-grandfather of Stefan, Jordan and Braeden and great grandfather of Oliver, Freya, Mary Clare and Elizabeth. He will be missed by his sister Hyacinth, and brothers Gerald, Roger and Leon all of South Dakota, sister-in-law Jo Van Fossen(Don) of Ohio, and a number of nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his first wife Janice Loynachan(1968), daughter Kim(1980) and brothers Bernard and Donald. Born in Lily, South Dakota on October 9, 1935, son of the late Bernard and Dora(Horst) Pesall. Dennis grew up on a farm in South Dakota, where he loved fishing, hunting and spending time in the great outdoors. Later in life, he loved skiing and fishing. Dennis was an electrical engineer and graduated in 1957 from the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology. Dennis was the founder and owner of Vector Electric Co. Ltd. from 1976-2008. He was an active member of Our Lady of Sorrows R.C. Church and was 4th Degree Member of the Knights of Columbus. Dennis was dedicated to his community through his work at the Aylmer Fair Board, a Past President of the Aylmer Curling Club, and Past Treasurer of Ontario Electric League. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Sorrows R.C. Church, Aylmer on Thursday, May 17, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. Interment, Queen of Peace Cemetery. Donations to the Our Lady of Sorrows R.C. Church or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
