Obituary of Marion Wintermute
Wintermute(Black), Marion Alice 1923-2018
Surrounded by her family, it is with heavy hearts and great sadness that the family announces the passing of their beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother(Nana) formerly of Belmont, Ontario at Valleyview Home on Friday, April 13th in her 95th year. Predeceased by her son Murray and her loving husband Jack, her parents Willsie and Alice and brother Harold. Cherished mother to Karen, Ralph(Rebecca), Carol(John) and Cathy(Wayne). Proud grandmother to Scott(Linda), Lisa(Martin), Brad(Jodi), Kent(Katie), Chet(Gina), Elizabeth(Matt), Jocelyn(Johnathan), Alyssa(Eric), Kyle(Mackenzie), Kelsey(James) and Rachelle. Special Nana to Caleb, Ethan, Avery, Cameron, Emma, Mason, Jaxon, Cooper, Olive, Rhett, Nolan, Gabriel, Briar, Brooklyn, Cas and Grady. Sister-in-law to Claire and Barb Wintermute and special friend to Marlene Taylor and Dorothy Scott. Marion is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Marion was employed with Scotiabank for over 30 years. She was an active Charter member of the Belmont Lioness, Eastern Star and Belmont United Church Women’s group. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer for visitation on Monday from 1-3p.m. and 7-9 p.m. with a Lioness Service at 6:30pm. The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at 11 a.m. Private family interment to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Belmont Community Park, Belmont United Church, Belmont Lioness or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
