Obituary of Kathaina Martens

Martens, at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Thursday, January 26, 2006. Katharina Martens of Aylmer in her 72nd year. Beloved wife of the late Henry Martens(1985). Loving mother of John and wife Martha of Mexico, Pete and wife Mica of Texas, Nancy Harder and husband Isaac of Aylmer, Tina Peters and husband John of Manitoba, Christina Bryan and husband Robby of Texas and Anne Harder and husband Pete of Aylmer. Dear sister of Maria, Justina and John. She will be sadly missed by 21 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sons Henry, John, Dave, a daughter Annie, brothers Peter and Henry and sisters Anna and Helen. Born in Chihuahua Mexico on August 14, 1934 daughter of the late Johan and Katharina (Friesen) Froese. Katharina was a homemaker, mother and a member of the Evangelical Mennonite Mission Church. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the E.M.M.C. at Summers Corners on Monday, January 30, 2006 at 2:00 pm. Interment, Aylmer Cemetery. Rev. Jake Friesen, officiating.
