Hiemstra (nee Hartemink) Hendrika "Dien”. In God's infinite wisdom, He chose to call home, His child, peacefully at Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital on Friday, March 30, 2018. She was in her 88^th year. Beloved wife of the late Jack Hiemstra (2011). Dear mother and grandmother of Andrew Hiemstra and wife Caroline of Watford (Jared, Erin, Joshua, Jenna); Brian Hiemstra and wife Jeanette of Aylmer (Naomi, Caleb, Elijah, Josiah); Marjorie Korvemaker and husband James of Wyoming (Adam and wife Kim, Jason and wife Hannah, Rebecca, Michael and wife Jessica, Grace, Steven and fiancé Meghan, and Sarah); Carl Hiemstra and wife Brenda of Aylmer (Emma, Daniel and Heidi) and Henrietta Hiemstra of Cambridge and seven great grandchildren. Sister-in-law of Albert Rougoor, Minnie Hiemstra, Henry and Ann Hiemstra, John and Christine Hiemstra. Also survived by a number of nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her 4 brothers and 2 sisters. Born in Vaarseveld, Netherlands on May 6, 1930. Dien loved her Heavenly Father and lived for Him and was an active member of the Bethel United Reformed Church. Friends may call at the Bethel United Reformed Church, Aylmer on Monday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the Bethel United Reformed Church, 49823 Talbot Line, Aylmer on Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at 11:00 am.
