Obituary of Gertie Goeckler

Goeckler, Gertrude Ida "Gertie" of R.R.5, Aylmer passed away peacefully at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Saturday, March 17, 2018. She was 84. Beloved wife of the late George Goeckler (2005).  Loving mother of Trudy Bunde and husband Jon, mother-in-law to Brenda and proud Oma to Connor, Sam and Ben.  Predeceased by her sons Ed (2011) and Ricky (1975).  Born in Hamilton, Ontario on May 9, 1933, daughter of the late Edward and Martha (Balbach) Neukamm.  Gertie was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church and the German Canadian Club.  Friends may call at the  H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Monday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where the funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at  1:30 pm. Interment, Aylmer Cemetery.
