Obituary of Geraldine Bearss

Bearss, Geraldine Anne of Aylmer passed away peacefully at her residence with her family by her side on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 in her 82^nd year. Beloved wife of the late Mack Bearss(1989). Dear mother of Mike(Laurie) of Springfield, Jim of Aylmer and Lorelei of Aylmer. Loving grandmother of Jeremy(Liz) and Jennifer. Proud great-grandmother of Bodhi and Tessa. Also survived by a sister Pat Ethelston, a sister-in-law Norma Morris and a number of nieces and nephews.  Born on September 8, 1936, daughter of the late Wallace and Ruby (White) Brackenbury. She was a faithful member of the Aylmer Baptist Church. Geraldine was a teacher at Summers Corners and a member of the Red Hat Society. She enjoyed knitting and for many years she gave handmade bonnets to the hospitals for newborn babies. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer for visitation before the funeral on Friday, February 9, 2018 from 12 p.m. - 1 p.m. where the funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm.
