Hello dear family of Nancy,
We moved to this area almost 18 yrs ago and were incredibly touched by Nancy and her warm and loving ways. She drove her big yellow bus past our home each morning always waving and smiling brightly. We will miss this. The YWCA swim program was also where we really got to know her. Our little girls learned to swim through the program and have gone on to grow older and become Aylmer arrows —now one is on the high school swim team too. Briar our eldest always wanted to work for Nancy.....
Every time we saw her regardless of he pool,or the grocery store or school yard Nancy always gave us big hugs. Her love for others and incredible desire for making the world a better place was so wonderful.
Thank you Nancy you made a huge difference in our lives. We love you and will miss you so much.....and till next time watch over your dear family and community.... till we meet again.
Our deepest condolences to all of your family.

We are so sad to hear of your loss. Nancy was a huge influence in helping Kate develop her career in lifeguarding and in helping Mark to enter the military. She was endlessly supportive and nurturing. The loss of Nancy is a huge blow to the town of Aylmer, the swimming program of the police college, and the generations of kids who learned to swim, and beyond, under Nancy's watch. We know she was also hugely proud of her family, and our thoughts are with all of you at this time. Nancy will be truly missed by many.

Kayla & Darcy,
I just heard- absolutely devastated.
Your mom was an inspiration to me. She was my boss when I taught swimming lessons, and ever since has always took the time to check in anytime I’d see her over the years. She was always so proud of the two of you and her grandkids. This past Christmas she was counting the days until you were both home.
Your mom was always out to help anyone and everyone- making sure every parent, child, and their instructors were supported. A tiring and sometimes thankless job, but she loved it.
Being a teacher, I also know that she’s an excellent bus driver- the students on her bus loved her.
Thinking of both of you, I can’t imagine.
Love,
Kristy

Lynda Pressey, Jeff & Nicole Wiebenga posted a condolence
Friday, February 2, 2018
Our deepest condolences. Words, however kind, cannot mend your heartache, but those who care for you share your grief and wish you comfort. Remember Nancy's love for all of you; by doing that, part of her will always remain with you. She was a kind and strong woman who will be missed dearly. Psalm 18:2 “The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.”
