Friday, January 19, 2018Dear Kim, Vincent and Joel and Family, I just learned of your sad news of Francois, and am deeply saddened by this. My sincere sympathy to all . I enjoyed my visit that I had at Your place Kim a few years ago and was very happy to have reconnected with you and Francois. As my work takes me away still and have moved to Alberta 4 years ago, it's difficult to stay in contact as we all grow older within our Families and the lives we have chosen but having said that, I always had a fond memory of the old gang hanging around and growing up together. Francois made me laugh a lot with his many shenanigans and his similar love for cars as I still have. He wowed us at the golf range with his one hand drives off the pad and was a terrific Goal Tender ! I'll always remember Him as we grew up and hung out on Victoria Rd. with Tony whom Franny called "lemon man" and of course the Dressers. I remember how happy he was when you came into his life and that's where I met you as well on Victoria Rd. I'm hopeful that He is playing hockey on Heavens Team and is watching over His Family. Your Friend Ron Hamer. Please take care Kim, who knows, we may meet someday in Aylmer when I'm passing through. P.S. I was speaking with Jim Wenman and Mike Dresser and we all send our condolences.

Saturday, January 13, 2018Life can be so beautiful, but sometimes so cruel especially when it comes to tear you off a loved one. A son for you Marie-Paule, a spouse for Kimberlee and a father for Vincent and Joel, flew away with a large part of you. May our deep and sincere thoughts put a balm on your wound, which will heal over the years without healing completely. May you remember the precious memories you have with François, whom you love so much. Do not hesitate to ask him to help you overcome these painful moments caused by his hasty departure. Saturday, January 13, 2018To the Potvin Family, I was sad to hear the news of Francois's passing. I knew him from hockey as a young teen, plus I later worked with him. Francois was an interesting individual who came across as a very strong, confident person, but inside he was a very soft, caring young man, who always spoke to me with the same respect I offered to him. I hope it helps you to know that I'll keep all of you in my thoughts and prayers. Take care. Linda
