Obituary of Reginald Watson

Watson, Now at peace with God, Reginald Victor "Reg" Watson of Aylmer passed away at the St.Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Friday December 30, 2005 in his 78th year. Devoted husband of Margaret (Gurr) Watson. Father of three very gifted children whom have lived, loved and laughed through out his time with us. Roger Watson and wife Marianne of St.Thomas, Brenda and husband Erich Schmelter of Aylmer and Brian Watson of London. Loved by his grandchildrren Devon, Dwight, Sydney, Cameron and Ryley. Brother of Ken Watson of St.Thomas, Jean Walker of Carstairs, Alberta, and the late Isabel Wickett. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Reg loved his family and he cherished everyday he could spend with us and he knew his spirit would carry on with all. He was a close friend to many and a cherished gift to us all. We will miss him but we know that he will be taking care of us all from above. Born in St.Thomas Ontario on December 20, 1928 the son of the late Herbert and Adelene (Coombs) Watson. Reg a local businessman lived in Aylmer and area for 55 years. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Monday 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m where the funeral service will be held on Tuesday January 3, 2006 at 1:00 pm. with Rev. Margaret Bell of Plains Baptist Church and Rev Cam Watts of Aylmer Baptist Church officiating. Interment Orwell Cemetery. Donations to the Aylmer Baptist Church Memorial Fund or Palliative Care, Elgin General Hospital would be appreciated.
