To Mr. White’s family:
Bill was always a smiling face when we came to Kebbels Funeral Home in Aylmer, ON. He served our Mennonite Community well in our times of grief. Our mom in 1979, Elisabeth Miller was sent here after she died in Manitoba to be near us 10 kids and our families, our dad in 2005, Jacob Miller Sr. and our brother in 2013, Jacob (Jake) Miller Jr. He probably knew Jake thru fishing and hunting interests. Thanks for a job well done Bill!

To the White family;
I have known Bill of a number of years. The first time I met Bill was at the FSAC Convention in Toronto in 1992... Bill was there with Herb. It was right after our purchase of the funeral home in Dorchester and I do remember him giving us encouragement in our endeavour.
Over the years I would run into him at hospitals, crematoriums etc. and at numerous WOFSA functions and in later years when he would "stop" into Lambeth on a business matters.
On behalf of myself, please do accept my personal condolences.

I first met Bill when I entered into the Co-Op program in grade 12 interested in learning more about the funeral profession. Throughout my term there, (I was able to do the full year there at Kebbel's because no one else was interested in that placement.... really??) Bill was always watching out for my best interest, and making encouraging me to follow my dreams as a young female entering into a male dominant career. I followed my dreams and became a funeral director many years ago. Many thanks to Bill for his positive leadership and patience in showing the many students interested in the funeral profession.
He certainly was a great mentor and his kindness will never be forgotten.

So sad and shocked by Bill's sudden death.
Fifty years just vanished and a youthful 'Mr. White'.....a smiling, outgoing, helpful, respectful, happy young man.....was sitting there in my highschool classroom.
Have talked to him many, many times and he would always produce that 'White-smile' every time I told him that "KebBill's" was spelled incorrectly.
My deepest sympathy,

Dear Marg & Family. How saddened we were to hear of Bill's sudden passing. We first got to know Bill back in the 80's when we both served on the Executive of the Western Ontario Funeral Service Association. I remember Bill with his big smile welcoming me onto the executive. He made me feel at home right away. In our visits we got to speak about my home area Huron County where he also first started out before the family moved to Springfield. I think the last time I saw him was some years ago now when we both showed up at a crematorium in London at the same time. Please know that we share this loss with both yourselves and with the Kebbel Family as well. Bill was truly a wonderful professional in his chosen field of Funeral Service and I know he will be truly missed by the greater community of the Aylmer area. . Well done thy good and faithful servant. Rest well my friend. Michael & Marguerite Falconer (Retired Funeral Director - Clinton, ON)

To the entire White family: We are shocked and heartbroken for the loss one of the good old boys. I was lucky to have been trained by Bill and the great fella's of the Kebbel Funeral Home. Bill and Marg welcomed me into their home in Chatham while I was in school so I could further my skills. He played an important part of my life that helped me eventually purchase my own funeral home. Bill was an absolutely great husband, father and grandfather; and not to mention a wonderful funeral director.
To the Kebbel Funeral Home: As a fellow undertaker, I can't imagine what your going through. You have worked with Bill forever. And yet, here you go. Your calling was to serve the public in the most difficult times. It's not easy doing what we do and yet here you are looking after one of your own. My hope is that God will have your back this weekend and in the months and years to follow. Growing up in and around the Kebbel Funeral Home has taught me that you guys are a family. We are here to support you in anyway.

Marg; Jennifer: Jimmy & Family:- One can consider oneself very fortunate to have a single good friend & confidant in a lifetime. We had so much more than that. We had the absolute best of "best friends" in Bill White. He was warm, funny, supportive when so needed, loyal & always the 'rock to lean on'. Bill will be SO missed in our lives, but we will still see glimpses of that 'old undertaker' in the faces & actions of Jennifer, Jimmy & his grandkids. There is a huge emptiness in our souls right now & we like you have cried oceans of tears, but time is the great healer and we know Bill would want all of you to grieve awhile but then live your lives with enjoyment knowing that he will always be with you in all your endeavors. Margaret, our hearts ache for you & your loved ones but never forget that we will always be close to you & at your beg & call at any hour of the day. My heartfelt condolences to Bill's family and dear friends during this very difficult time. I always remember Bill for a simple act of kindness extended to me in the spring of 1968 following the passing of my father in January that year. He and Bob Hodgson showed up at our door one Saturday afternoon and asked my mom if they could take me to a movie that evening. She agreed and the three of us drove to London and saw the movie Little Big Man with Dustin Hoffman and Chief Dan George.
Many years later in 2013 when my mother finally passed away at age 93 Bill helped with the final arrangements and with his help Kebbels presented a very fitting presentation for her memorial.
I have always remembered Bill for these acts of kindness and will never forget him.
Rest in peace old friend.
