Branje, at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Saturday, September 3, 2011. Wilhelmus Maria "Wil" Branje a resident of Aylmer. In his 83rd year. Beloved husband of 57 years of Christina (VanAarssen) Branje. Dear father of Anna Liston and husband Tim, Kitty Grant and spouse Randy Colwell, Will Branje and wife Barb, Joan Branje, Rob Branje and wife Lisa and Jackie Branje and spouse Kelly MacDonald. Beloved 'Opa' of grandchildren Alex, Craig, Simon (Rachel), Ryan, Michael, Lindsey, Amy (Ryan), Stacey (Kyle), Jamie Lyn and Devon; also great grandchildren Josie, Parker, Bradley and Dustin. He is also survived by 5 brothers, 2 sisters, a brother-in-law in Holland and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by 2 brothers and sisters. Born in Venray, The Netherlands February 25, 1929, son of the late Johannes and Arnoldina (VanCasteren ) Branje. Wil farmed with Cold Springs Farms and he was a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church. Wil had received an Aylmer Citizen of the Year Award recognizing his volunteer service with Special Olympics and Community Living, Aylmer. The family will receive friends at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Tuesday 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in the funeral chapel on Wednesday, September 7 at 2:00 p.m. Cremation to follow.
