Obituary of Audrey Thomson

Thomson, at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Monday, August 29, 2011. Audrey Thomson of Aylmer in her 83rdfyear. She was born in Stratford Ontario on Dec. 8, 1929 daughter of the late Fred and Ethel (McTavish) Thomson. Audrey was a resident of Aylmer for many years. She was a Registered Nurse at St. Joseph's Hospital, London. Audrey was active in the community. She was a member of the Aylmer and District Museum, the Aylmer Garden Club, the Aylmer Historic Society, St. Paul's United Church, the Central Chapter- Order of the Easter Star, Terrace Lodge Auxiliary, I.O.D.E. and the Canadian Power Squadron. Audrey served as Past President of the 1st Aylmer Brownie Pac, she helped with Meals on Wheels and she was a Judge for the Horticultural Society. Audrey enjoyed traveling. Cremation has taken place. A service will be held on Thursday, September 1, 2011 at 11:00 am. from the Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer with visiting one hour prior. Interment, St.Thomas Cemetery. Rev. Norman Jones, officiating.
