Obituary of Richard Buis

Buis, at his residence on Thursday, August 4, 2011. Richard Buis of R.R.7, Aylmer in his 82nd year. Beloved husband of Nellie (Mantel) Buis. Loving father of John Buis and wife Joyce of RR2, Aylmer, Ron Buis and wife Caroline of RR7, Aylmer, Murray Buis and wife Judy of RR7, Aylmer, Larry Buis and wife Irene of RR7, Aylmer, Nancy Dwyer and husband Dennis of Sarnia, Jim Buis and wife Brenda of Mossley and Sharon Buis of Alaska. Dear brother of Geurt Buis and wife Janny, Nick Buis and wife Sadie, Ben Buis and wife Nel, Mary Provost, Jenny Driesman, Jane Greer, Minnie Chapman, Mina Huizing and husband Gerry. Also survived by a number of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Born in Nuenen, The Netherlands on February 3, 1930 son of the late Nicholas and Francyna (VanHelvoort) Buis. Richard came to Canada in 1948 and farmed west of Kingsmill. He was a faithful member of Aylmer Christian Reformed Church. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the Aylmer Christian Reformed Church( South Street West and Caverly Road) on Monday, August 8, 2011 at 11:00 am.
