Van Liere: at St.Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Wednesday June 8, 2011. Kees John Van Liere of Aylmer, in his 79th year. Beloved husband of Alice (Gils) Van Liere for 52 years. Dear father of Matthew (Marvin) Van Liere and wife Karen of St.Thomas, Ron Van Liere and wife Karen of Aylmer and Richard Van Liere and wife Stacie of R.R.# 7, Aylmer. Loved by his grandchildren Ryan, Megan, Kyle and Cody. Brother of Jannie Wiskerke Van Liere in Holland, Corrie Meesen Van Liere in Holland, Audrie Bruinsma and husband Charley of Stirling, Maria Wiebenga of London, Addie Vidler and husband Jeff of London, and Tom Van Liere of St.Thomas, Predeceased by a brother John. Also survived by a number of Nieces and nephews. Born in Kapelle, Holland, November 3, 1932, son of the late Matthew and Adrianna (Pouwer) Van Liere. Kees was a retired employee of V.M.E. and a member of the Aylmer Christian Reformed Church. Friends may call at the H.A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Friday 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The Funeral service will be held at the Aylmer Christian Reformed Church on Saturday June 11, 2011 at 11:00 am. Pastor Louis Bosma and Rev Norman Jones officiating. Interment Aylmer Cemetery.
