To the family of the late Nancy Broer, I got to know Nancy a little bit over the past year or so, and as we slowly developed a rapport during that period, I genuinely came to care for her as the feisty, little independent lady that she was. I looked forward to our visits, and I believe she did as well. She always (well, almost always) greeted me with a smile She had just been taken off my schedule before being admitted to hospital, therefore I was not notified of her passing, else I would have expressed my condolences in person at her visitation. I am truly sorry for your loss. Take solace in the reality that she is no longer suffering, and she can finally rest in peace. God Bless, Bonnie Weil Canadian Red Cross
