Obituary of Harold Chase

Chase, at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Wednesday, May 25, 2011. Harold Chase of Aylmer in his 89th year. Beloved husband of the late Greta (Matthews) Chase(2005). Dear father of Ken Chase and his wife Pat of London, Carol Maes and her husband Romain of St.Thomas, Vickie Sullivan and her husband Skip of London, Carey Chase and Andrea of St.Thomas. Loved by his grandchildren Julie and Steve Embury, John and Marcy Munroe, Michelle and Raymond Johnston, Terri and Paul Paradis, Lisa and Todd Henry, Greg Palmer, Rob Chase, Ashleigh. Great grandfather of Cassie, Brian, Nathan, Natalie, Nicole, Kaitlyn, Taylor, Shane, Ryan, Kaitlyn and Devon. Brother of Helen Munroe, Connie Newman and Betty Bowcott and husband Jordie. Also survived by a dear friend Donna Goble, several cousins, nieces, nephews. Predeceased by a sister May Arthur, a brother Herb Chase and a brother-in-law Grant Matthews. Born in Cedoux Saskatchewan on December 28, 1922 son of the late Lawrence and Hilda (Shepherd) Chase. Harold was a farmer in Sparta and New Sarum for many years. He worked at LCBO for 19 years. Harold was a proud member of the St. Thomas Barbershoppers and a member of St. Paul's United Church. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Thursday 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at St. Paul's United Church on Friday, May 27, 2011 at 11:00 am. Interment, Elmdale Cemetery. Rev.
