Obituary of Anna Vermey

Vermey, peacefully at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Monday, May 23, 2011. Anna Vermey of Aylmer in her 92nd year. Beloved wife of the late John Vermey(2003). Dear mother of Joanne Stapensea and husband Neil of Houston Texas and Robert Vermey of Aylmer. Loving grandmother to Troy and Curtis. Predeceased by 3 brothers and 4 sisters. Born in Truro Nova Scotia on February 3, 1920 daughter of the late James and Anna Belle (Adams) Blair. Anna taught school at East and West Elgin Secondary Schools. She was a member of St. Paul's United and the Terrace Lodge Aux. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on May 25, 2011 at 2:00 pm. Interment, Aylmer Cemetery. Rev. Donald Graham, officiating.
