Obituary of Donald Thomas

Thomas, at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Saturday, May 21, 2011. Donald Thomas of Aylmer and formerly Mossley in his 71st year. Beloved husband of Carol Thomas. Dear father of Lorrie Kaiser and husband Bill of Mossley, Jon Thomas and wife Lisa of London and Ron Thomas of Vancouver. Step-father of Roy Chapple and Tracey Chapple. Loving grandfather of Stephanie, Ashley and Daniel. Also survived by brothers Brian Thomas and wife Dorothy and Gary Thomas and wife Kathy and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by a son Donny(1977) and his first wife Lorraine(1993). Don was an avid Horseman and Pilot. He enjoyed Quarter Horses and awarded the Canadian Reining Championship in 1983. Don was Past President of the London and St. Thomas Recreational Aircraft Association. Cremation has taken place. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where the service will be held on Wednesday, May 25, 2011 at 11:00 am. Donations to the Diabetes Association.
