Obituary of Jean Cresswell

Cresswell: Jean, in her 85th year, surrounded in the love of her family passed away peacefully at her home in Aylmer on Tuesday, March 8, 2011. Beloved wife of Dr. William Cresswell and loving mother of David Cresswell (Gail), Deborah Woods, Robert Cresswell(Joan) and Paul Cresswell. Loving grandmother of Tracy, Ryan, Mellissa, Kimberly, Jennifer, David, Carrie, Gregory, Laura, Jamie, Natalie. Great Grandmother of Rowan, Colton, Torin and Carys. Dear sister of William Eberle. Loved by numerous nieces and nephews. Born in Lacombe, Alberta on May 27, 1926, daughter of the late Rev. Ira and Gertrude (Hall) Eberle. Jean graduated as a registered nurse from Guelph General Hospital in 1948. She was a member of the Aylmer Baptist Church for 60 years. She was active in the Aylmer community and enjoyed curling, golfing, her cottage at Long Point Beach, and winters in Florida. Visitation at the H.A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Thursday, Mar. 10 from 7-9 p.m and Friday, Mar. 11 from 2-4 p.m and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at Aylmer Baptist Church on Saturday, Mar. 12 at 1 p.m, Rev. Cameron Watts officiating. Private family internment in the Aylmer Cemetery. Donations to Aylmer Baptist Church, Aylmerand Area Community Foundation or charity of choice would be appreciated.
