Black, at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Sunday, February 6, 2011. Donald Seaton Black of Aylmer in his 93rd year. Beloved husband for 68 years of Helen (Johnston) Black. Dear father of David and wife Elaine of Kelowna, B.C., Grant and wife Margaret of Orton, Ontario and Marie Black and husband Walter Moffat of Toronto. Loving grandfather of Carolyn(Kyle), Stephanie, Hailey(Andrew), Spencer and William. Great-grandfather of Kirstin and Camden. Also survived by a number of nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sisters Laura Belle Black and Eva Carr Black, brothers Dr. George Angus Black and John A. Black. Born in Aylmer Ontario on March 2, 1918 son of the late A.N. "Sandy" and Eva (Carr) Black. Don served in the R.C.A.F. in North Africa and Italy during WWII. He was a life member of the Royal Canadian Legion and a member of the Malahide Masonic Lodge #140. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Wednesday 7-9 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 9, 2011 at 11:00 am. Cremation will follow and Interment in the Aylmer Cemetery at a later date. Rev. Norman Jones, officiating.
