Aspden, at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Monday January 31, 2011. Shirley Aspden of Dutton and formerly St.Thomas and Aylmer in her 84th year. Beloved wife of the late Harvey Aspden (2008). Dear mother of Betty Jane Norman and husband Kenn of Dutton, Patricia Trudel and husband Roger of Vernon, Deborah Boissoneau of St.Thomas and Richard Aspden and wife Jill of Florida. Step mother of Karen Harriott and friend Tom Smith of Vittoria, Kevin Aspden and wife Donna of London. Mother-in-law of Mary Ethelston of Aylmer. Also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Predeceased by a son Donald Ethelston, a son-in-law Maurice Boissoneau and a brother Albert Kilmer. Born in Pt. Burwell Ontario on November 18, 1927 daughter of the late Gordon and Margaret (Hood) Kilmer. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Friday 7-9 pm where the funeral service will be held on Saturday February 5, 2011 at 1:00 pm. Interment, Aylmer Cemetery. Rev Norman Jones, officiating.
