Firby, Murray "Pete" of Pt. Burwell, after a courageous battle with Cancer at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Thursday, January 27, 2011 in his 66th year. Beloved husband of Velma (Hainer) Firby. Dear father of Robert Firby and wife Angela of Tillsonburg, Jason Firby and friend Michelle of Strathroy and Richard Firby of Thedford. Loving grandfather of Rain, Kayla and Davion. Brother of Shirley Patterson of Brownsville and Ken Firby and wife Mary Lynn of Aylmer. Born in Tillsonburg on September 11, 1945 son of the late Donald and Phyllis (Conner) Firby. Also survived by a step-mother Marjorie Firby of Aylmer and a number of nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 29, 2011 at 11:00 am. Interment, Aylmer Cemetery. Rev.
