Medema, at Chateau Gardens, Aylmer on Monday, December 13, 2010. John Medema of Aylmer in his 93rd year. Beloved husband of Barbara (Van Lingen) Medema. Dear father of Jane Hoogsteen and husband Ted of Brantford, Harm Medema and wife Bev of Kitchener, Etty Broer of Kincardine, Ann Bruinsma and husband John of Aylmer, Liz Gysbers and husband Charlie of Vancouver and John Medema and wife Janet of Aylmer. Also survived by 2 sisters Antje and Sietje, 24 grandchildren and 40 great grandchildren. Predeceased by a son-in-law Bill Broer, 3 brothers Teuwes, Pete and Siebrandt. Born in Uithuizen The Netherlands on October 11, 1918. After Retirement from farming and Clark Equipment in St. Thomas, John enjoyed fishing at the Port Bruce Pier. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the Aylmer Christian Reformed Church on Thursday, December 16, 2010 at 11:00 am.
