Bennett, at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Tuesday, November 30, 2010.Gerald Elton Bennett of St. Thomas in his 86th year. Beloved husband of Bianca (Wall) Bennett. Dear father of Judy Crane and husband Jim of Avon, Mike Bennett and wife Gail of Amherstburg and Mark Bennett and wife Linda of Belmont. Loving grandfather of Lisa Crane, Brendan, Meghan, Vanessa, Tyler and Dillon Bennett. Also survived by a sister Florence McCallum, brothers Blake Bennett and wife Evelyn, Hedley Bennett and wife Pat, Sam Bennett, George Bennett and wife Ruth and a number of nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a sister Leila. Born on August 27, 1925 son of the late George and Mildred (Kenny) Bennett. Gerald was a resident of St. Thomas for 26 years and formerly lived in Belmont. He worked for Laidlaw Transport as a mechanic and driver for many years. Gerald enjoyed travelling. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where the funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Friday, December 3, 2010 at 11:00 am. Interment, Aylmer Cemetery. Rev.
