Obituary of George Freisinger

Freisinger, George Surrounded by his Loving Family at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Saturday, November 27, 2010. George Freisinger of Aylmer in his 80th year. Beloved husband of Ingrid (Lenz) Freisinger. Dear father of Susan Lampman and husband Richard, Michelle Broer and fiancé Michael Carr and Rob Freisinger. Loving grandfather of Jonathan, Melissa, Jestin, Nia, Chloe and Tyson. Brother-in-law of Veronika Weekes, Richard and Pat Lenz. George will be sadly missed by cousins, nephews and a niece. Born in Pari Hungary on September 18, 1931 son of the late George and Barbara (Bachmann) Freisinger. George was an avid hockey fan and supporter of Aylmer Minor Hockey, the Aylmer Spitfires and the Toronto Maple Leafs. Opa would never would miss a game if at all possible. George was a master gardener and landscaper, he was a member of the Aylmer and St. Thomas German Canadian Clubs. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Monday 7-9, Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral mass will be held at Our Lady of Sorrows R.C. Church on Wednesday, December 1, 2010 at 11:00 am. Interment, Queen of Peace Cemetery. Donations to the Cancer Research at LHSC or the Aylmer Minor Hockey Assoc. would be appreciated.
