Obituary of Margaret Crane

Crane, at Caressant Care, Mary Bucke, St.Thomas on Tuesday, November 9, 2010. Margaret Crane of St. Thomas and formerly Avon, in her 95th year. Beloved wife of the late Arthur Crane (2004). Dear mother of Jim Crane and wife Judy of R.R.# 1, Springfield and John Crane and wife Cathy of R.R.# 1, Belmont. Loved by her grandaughter Lisa Crane of R.R.# 1 Springfield. Sister -in- law of Margaret Bradley and Marion Crane . Predeceased by her brothers Charlie, John, George, and Warren DeGroat. Born in Avon, Ontario on July 12, 1916, daughter of the late Anson and Jessie (Ferguson) DeGroat. Margaret lived in the Mt.Vernon and Avon area all her life. She was a member of Avon United Church, a past president of Junior Farmers and Avon Women's Institute. Margaret was the primary care giver to her mother Jessie most of her life. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 pm where the funeral service will be held on Friday, November 12, 2010 at 11:00 am. Interment, Aylmer Cemetery.
