Obituary of Case Inthout
Inthout, peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on November 7, 2010. Cornelius "Case" Inthout of Aylmer in his 83rd year. Beloved husband of Bernardina "Dini" (Meringa) Inthout. Dear father of Ria Huls and husband Wubbe of the Netherlands, Zelda Woods of Corbett, and Harry Alexandre Inthout and wife Lorrie of Delhi. Loved by his grandchildren Margreet, Jan, Suzy, Aaron, Deanna and Emma Jane. There are four great grandchildren. Also survived by one sister and two brothers in The Netherlands. Case will be missed by his dear friends Willem and Jackee Slim. He was predeceased by his son-in-law Wayne Woods (2010) and four siblings. Born in Vlagtwedde, The Netherlands on March 13, 1928, son of the late Hendriekus and Gepke (Roskamp) Inthout. Case came to Canada in 1952 and lived in the Petrolia, Dashwood and Aylmer areas. He loved the land and farmed all his life. At Case's request cremation has taken place and a family service will be held at a later date.
