Smithson, at London Health Science Centre-University Campus on Friday July 23, 2010. Frederick Smithson of London in his 73rd year. Dear son of Jennie (Fleming) Smithson of Wardsville and the late Joseph Smithson Beloved husband of Dorothy Hedden-Smithson. Dear father of Lynn Savage and husband Rob of St.Thomas, Kathy Robbins and husband Allan of St.Thomas . Step father of Jeff Hedden and wife Rhonda of London, Beverly Hedden and Paul Smale of Hensall, Debbie Arnold and husband John of Parkhill. Predceased by a step-daughter Tracey Stire and a brother Don Smithson. Loved by 14 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Born in Yarmouth Township Ontario on September 10, 1937. Fred was a retired employee of G.M. and had lived in Aylmer, St.Thomas and London. Cremation has taken place and graveside service will be held at the Aylmer Cemetery at a later date.
