Van Patter: Margaret Louise "Peg" a resident of R.R.# 5, Aylmer passed away at Carressant Care Bonnie Place, St.Thomas on Saturday July 17, 2010 in her 96th year. Beloved wife of the late Jack Van Patter (1988). Dear mother of Jim Van Patter and his wife Loraine of Huntsville, John Van Patter and wife Margaret of Amherstburg, Bryan Van Patter of Brockville and Mark Van Patter and wife Sheila of Guelph. Loved by her grandchildren Jackie O'Bied and husband Rick, Jean Van Patter, Melissa Caron and husband Tim, Ryan Van Patter, Lauren Van Patter, Jesse Van Patter and Jack Van Patter. Step-grandmother of Marc, Catherine, Allen and Jill. Also survived 5 great grandchildren, 5 step- great grandchildren and a sister-in-law of Brownie Appleyard of Aylmer. Predeceased by sisters, Frances Dunn, and Edith Munn and brothers, Jack Appleyard and Doug Appleyard. Born in Toronto, April 3, 1915, daughter of the late Arthur and Mary (Haddock) Appleyard. Peg lived in the Aylmer area most of her life and was a member of Trinity Anglican Church and the ACW. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service to celebrate the life of Peg will be held at the Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Wednesday July 28, 2010 at 3:00 pm. Burial of ashes Aylmer Cemetery.
