Obituary of Jim Van Patter

Van Patter, at his residence on Tuesday, July 13, 2010. Donald James "Jim" Van Patter of Aylmer in his 73rd year. Dear father of Patricia Van Patter and friend Pam French of London, Donald Van Patter and wife Helen of Dorchester and Judy Van Patter and friend Brian Hubert of St. Thomas. Loving grandfather of Chris and Ariel. Brother of Irva Horton of Grimsby and George Van Patter and Marie of Tillsonburg. Former husband of Shirley Van Patter. Also survived by dear friends Betty Harris, Ike Peters, Paul Phillimore and a number of nieces and nephews. Born in Aylmer Ontario on July 1, 1938 son of the late Donald and Leta (Nicholson) Van Patter. Jim was a mechanic and a stock car driver. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Friday, July 16, 2010 at 11:00 am. Interment, Aylmer Cemetery. Rev. Norman Jones, officiating.
