Obituary of Homer Heyndrickx

Heyndrickx- At his residence on Friday, November 18, 2005, Homer Heyndrickx of Aylmer in his 87th year. Beloved husband of 64 years to Grace (Longe) Heyndrickx, loving father of Connie McKnight and husband John of Aylmer, Rosemary Hendel and husband Peter of R.R.#2 Aylmer, Wanda Minor of Bleheim. Dear grandfather of Michael McKnight and wife Karalee, Michelle Farrugia and husband Jeff, Dereck James and wife Carrie, Peter Hendel, Brent James. Great grandfather of Grace, Abigail, Sarah, Michaila and Nathan. Brother to Marion, Rachel, and Bob Heyndrickx. Also survived by a number of nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a son-in-law Dan. Born in Belgium on June 28, 1919, son of the late Joseph and Anna (Coppens) Heyndrickx. He was a tobacco farmer, a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Roman Catholic Church and Col. Talbot Branch #81 of the Royal Canadian Legion. He was an avid card player. Friends may call at the H.A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Sunday 2-4 and 7-9pm. The funeral mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Sorrows Roman Catholic Church on Monday, November 21 at 11am. Interment Queen of Peace Cemetery. Prayers Sunday at 8pm.
