Barker, at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Thursday, July 1, 2010. Ronald Barker of R.R.1, Belmont in his 73rd year. Dear father of Debbie McFarlan and husband Robert of Belmont and Lisa Barker (Claude Ratelle) of London. Dear friend of Jean Evert. Loving grandfather of Melissa McFarlan(Graham Drakes), Ashley McFarlan and Analease Strand. Great Grandfather of Jaiden and Ryan. Brother of Bob Barker and wife Liz and the late Mike Barker. Also survived by a sister-in-law Shirley Barker and a number of nieces and nephews. Predeceased by dear friend Donna Bond. Born in London on March 9, 1938 son of the late Harold and Violet (Vickers) Barker. Ron was an avid hockey player and fisherman. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Sunday 1-4 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Monday, July 5, 2010 at 11:00 am. Cremation will follow. Rev. Janet Anstead, officiating.
